There is heroism, but it is of a different kind. In Srikanth Addala's Brahmotsavam, it is all mellowed down. Last time we saw Mahesh Babu on the silver screen, he was busy sending goons in the air, and mouthing a lot of one-liners throughout the film Srimanthudu. Definitely worth a watch.Cast: Mahesh Babu, Sathya Raj, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu Most importantly, how the filmmmaker manages to dish out the entertainment without diluting the intensity and innocence of the romance is note worthy. The other heroine, Priya Shri doesn’t have much to do, besides playing a facilitator for the love story between Kiran and Aditya.īesides being funny, the comic tracks involving Posani Krishna Murali, as a funny college lecturer and Vennela Kishore playing a Telugu cabie pretending to be a Hindi speaking Sanjay Leela Bhansali, are nicely woven into the narrative. Anu Emmanuel, sure looks the part of a achhamaina Telugammayi, while her emoting isn’t there yet, she put up a decent show for a first timer. Playing a spunky small town guy who falls in love at first sight with Kiran, who crashes into him on her moped, Nani is in his element. In a date song, we have the lead pair planting saplings in a farm. So is the heart-warming small town flavour of the romance, set in the backdrop of picturesque locales of Bheemavaram.

In this film, Raj Tarun plays the groom, who drives Kiran, his bride-to-be (after she expresses her wish not to be) to the railway station to stop the love of her life, Aditya from taking off to Goa. Uyyala Jampala, his debut, ended with the female protagonist Avika Gor running away from the mandapam to confess her love to her bawa, Raj Tarun. Review: Director Virinchi Varma seems to have a thing for runaway brides, hailing from Bheemavaram in particular. But when he sets out to woo her back, he realises Kiran and Suma are best friends.
But midway he realises that he is still in love with Kiram even four years after their break-up.
Story: While confessing his love to Suma (Priya Shri) on a date, Aditya (Nani) narrates the story of his love failure with Kiran (Anu Emmanuel).
